ArmorFleck Maximum Duty ‘Terrazo Look’ Floor System
ArmorPoxy is pleased to offer 2 versions of our ArmorFleck floor system. Standard ArmorFleck uses a single coat of epoxy and a medium fleck pattern and a single coat of topcoat. The ArmorFleck EX Systems comes with 2 coats of epoxy (for maximum ’settling in’ of the flecks), double the amount of flecks, and 2 coats of topcoat, giving the floor a ‘granite’ look. This unique system give your floors the look of a Terrazo Floor without the expense and mess associated with Terrazo. The supplied color chips also give your floor some texture and make it less slippery if it gets wet. Guaranteed against ‘hot tire lifting’ for 5 years! The ArmorFleck System is the same system that professional flooring contractors use that charge thousands per garage to install. ArmorFleck is 100% UV stable and won’t fade. ArmorFleck is great for garages, basements, stores and similar applications. For low odor applications, use our ArmorClad System. ArmorFleck can be used on concrete, properly prepped painted surfaces, wood and laminates, and other similar surfaces.

Don’t be fooled by systems sold at home centers that although well packaged and displayed don’t contain any critical topcoat as their systems are prone to failure as the chips come right out due to ‘hot tire lifting’ and heavy traffic. ArmorFleck eliminates ‘hot tire lifting’ due to our multi-step process.
Our unique system is easy to apply and can be applied by anyone. Its simple and easy!
- Clean the floor well (power washing is preferred but not required).
- Mix our supplied environmentally safe floor cleaner/etcher with water. Apply with stiff broom or mop, let stand for 15 minutes then rinse well.
- Mix the two component industrial grade floor epoxy and apply the base color coat to the floor with a standard roller. (Repeat for the EX version)
- While the floor is wet, apply the supplied color chips to achieve your desired effect. The chips themselves give the floor some texture and non-slip propertlies. (Apply into 2nd coat of EX)
- Let dry overnight. Sweep next day.
- Next, apply the supplied clear epoxy coat to seal in the chips and give your floor the ultimate look. Add our non-skid additive for additional traction.
- Let dry/cure for at least 5 days before driving on it.
- That’s it!
Each ‘kit’ contains the following items for a complete job and contains enough material to do a one car garage. Coverage is approximately 250 sq. ft. per kit. The kits contain:
- Liquid Cleaner/Etcher conentrate
- 1 gallon colored epoxy, Part A (your choice of base coat color) [1/2 gal. of A & B] (2 gals for EX version)
- Bag of colored chips (double amt for EX)
- 1 gal. of clear topcoat sealer (2 gals for EX)
- Bag of non skid aggregate for areas where additional traction is desired
- Stirring sticks, power mix attachment, instructions, brush and roller
