Armorpoxy UltraFast / Ultra Low Temp Floor Coating Systems

Armorpoxy UltraFast is a series of two different revolutionary proprietary floor coating systems where specific needs such as immediate back-in-service times, outdoor use or a  very low temperature applications are required.  UltraFast is the next generation beyond epoxies using NASA-formulated copolymers, UV cured resins, and polyaspartic formulations to achieve amazing floor coating results with minimal or no downtime. UltraFast is great for commercial kitchens, bakeries, airports, prisons, cafeterias, garages (where you can’t leave your ’stuff’ outside overnight), low temperature situations such as coolers and freezers, warehouses and garages that are cold and have no heat, factories & industrial use where the normal 3-7 day downtime of epoxies can’t be tolerated and thousands of other applications.  Great for car dealers and repair shop environments  that need to be ‘back to work’ quickly.  Although UltraFast is  more expensive than epoxies, frequently the shorter curing times  make it far worth the additional expense.   Ultrafast is extremely resistant to all types of acids, solvents, fuels, oils and paints. It’s almost impossible to remove. All UltraFast systems are sold as 100% complete ‘Job on a Pallet’ kits that contain all necessary prep materials, special rollers, non skid additives, frames, mixers, etc.

The Ultrafast Series comes in two different versions.

The first version is called UltraFast-ON (overnight version).  Ultrafast-ON is a 3-layer system and the least expensive of the Series with prices in the $1.75/sq ft range. This system uses a special 100% solids epoxy that uses ‘accelerators’ to speed up curing.  The UltraFast-ON 2-part epoxy primer gets applied and cures in 2-3 hours, then you apply a coat of our UltraFast 2 part fast curing epoxy (you can broadcast decorative flecks onto this) which cures in about 1 hour, and then a coat of our standard ArmorUltra Military grade Red Label 1 part topcoat which dries overnight so it can handle light foot traffic the next day. The main advantage of this system is it can be applied in a single day. No vehicular or heavy traffic though for 2-3 days.   This system mixes and applies like traditional epoxies, but the mid epoxy layer cures much faster than standard epoxies wich must cure overnight so you lose a day until you can apply the topcoat. With the UltraFast-ON System you can apply everything the same day.  Decorative flecks can be applied if desired. UltraFast-ON is not designed for outdoor use since it is not UV tolerant long term like all epoxies.

The second version of UltraFast is called Ultrafast-PS. This is a special 3 layer hybrid polyurea/polyaspartic system in which all 3 layers cure quickly (Same day dry time) . UltraFast-PS is a 3-layer system and mid-priced in the $2.75 per square foot range. The first layer, the 2-part epoxy primer goes down and cures in 1-2 hours. The mid layer polyaspartic  cures in about 1 hour you can broadcast decorative flecks into this). The final polyaspartic topcoat gets applied and cures in about an hour.  This system  mixes and applies like traditional epoxies, but has very short working times and is good where you need immediate vehicular and equipment back in service times in 24 hours. Typical applications for UltraFast-PS are garages (where you can’t leave personal posessions outside overnight), commercial kitchens, etc. UltraFast is UV stable for outdoor use and can be used outdoors and can be applied down to 45-50 degrees. Decorative flecks can be applied if desired too. UltraFast-PS is the next ’step up’ from epoxy coatings. UltraFast PS has superior chemical resistance to all epoxy-type coatings.
